Smore Brownie Bars | Adventures of a Hungry Redhead
Something wonderful has happened. You know, like when it’s a rainy day and there just happens to be a Law & Order SVU marathon. Or when your favorite running shoe, in your size, goes on sale. Or when you run out of mascara exactly when Clinique bonus time starts.

You are on the edge of your seat now wondering what happened.

S’more met brownie. THAT’S what happened. Mind. Blown.

My love of s’more bars were proclaimed to the world in my second blog post ever: S’more Bars.

My love of brownies is obvious because a) I have ovaries and b) there are not one, not two, but THREE slutty brownie recipes posted on this blog (not to mention a vegan and a gluten free brownie).

Knowing what a fantastic concept it is to take chocolate chip cookie dough, plop it on top of graham crackers and top with marshmallows and Hershey bar, I’m surprised I didn’t try this sooner, especially since I always have brownie mix handy for an impromptu slutty brownie moment. I think I may have been too devoted to the original s’more cookie bar and refused to imagine something that could compete.

These definitely compete, though I’d be hard pressed to pick a winner in the s’more battle royale. And it would totally be a hot chick bikini mud wrestling kind of a fight. Which could also be considered be wonderful.

Ingredients
1 package fudge brownie mix (13 x 9 pan size)
Eggs, oil and water, as called for on brownie mix package
6-10 whole graham crackers, depending on size*
3 cups mini marshmallows
1 Jumbo Hershey’s chocolate bars, cut into pieces
2-3 graham crackers, crushed into small pieces

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 13 x 9 inch pan with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange graham crackers in a single layer in the pan, cutting pieces to fit as needed.

Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions. Spread brownie mix evenly over crackers.

Bake for 25-28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Take pan out of the oven. Sprinkle with marshmallows, chocolate bar pieces, and crushed graham crackers. Bake 5-7 minutes longer, or until marshmallows are slightly puffed and golden brown. Cool completely before cutting.

And I bet you have most of this in your pantry already! Um, well if you don’t, who can argue with a trip to the store for chocolate bars, graham crackers and marshmallows!
