This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Eric who has some Almond Joy type bakery headed his way!
Adventures of a Hungry Redhead is officially a month old! Thank you for your comments, tweets and facebook love. But I want more, more, more! So I’m going to bribe you celebrate by offering home baked hungry redhead goodies delivered to your door! Here’s how it works:
Today is Halloween. I want to know what your favorite Halloween candy is. Answer by commenting on this post. One commenter, chosen at random, will receive a batch of baked treats made with or inspired by your favorite Halloween candy. If you retweet my new post that will go up this afternoon (and it will be a doozie!), it counts as a second entry. (Are you following @1hungryredhead on Twitter?) You must comment or tweet before midnight (ET) tonight to be entered. Sorry family, you’re ineligible because you get free baked goods all the time.
And yes, this is all a grand scheme for an excuse to buy mass quantities of Halloween candy when it goes on sale. You saw right through me lover. But you can’t feel used because you win baked goods.
Candy Corn and Peanuts!!
Twix!!! Yum!
Reese’s Cups
I’m going with single Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. I eat about one of those things each year and they make my teeth twitch when I do because of the concentrated sugar blast, but they’re fantastic. Also, my Mom was one of those lunatics who was paranoid about some misanthrope putting a needle or pin (gasp!) into Halloween candy, and she thought that a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup was the perfect medium for that. So I was never allowed to eat them as a wee one.
OMG! I always thought the PB cups would be the easiest to poison too! Never stopped me from eating every single one. Even the unwrapped ones with needle holes.
Wonka bar w/ golden ticket
Heath bar!
If you win, you have to make ME the Heath Bar triffle and we’ll trade.
Hershey’s Special Dark miniature.
Tough one but falls between Nutrageous and Butterfingers. For a chance to get baked goods, I’ll go with Butterfingers in salute to Bart Simpson.
M&M’s of course! Peanut Butter M&M’s to be more specific.
Sweet tarts… the little ones… wrapped in cellophane. I never have a reason to buy them but love finding them in the candy I steal from kids after Halloween.
Butterfinger bars. A once a year candy coma is OK, right?
Nestle Crunch. My go-to choice in the minatures assortment bag.
I have been thinking about this today and I think the winner hands down is miniature caramello bars (do they even make those anymore?!) just the thought of those stringy, stretchy caramel bites makes me forget about anything negative. Finding a “just take one” basket full of caramello bars? Jackpot. Year supply.
That is an excellent question ad I totally forgot about Caramelo bars until now! Didn’t they have a catchy jingle too? They’d make awesome baked goods 🙂
Pumpkin cheesecake brownies, and I have to go all the way to Atlanta to get ’em.
Are pumpkin cheesecake brownies a Halloween candy or are you cheating at this game?
Reese Peanut Butter cups, hands down. But then almost everything everyone else has entered is yum as well. As long as it doesn’t have coconut….
Andes mints! Or Andes candies, if you want to be all passion pit about it
Mr Goodbars.
Almond Joy!
Rockets! Or as they call them in the US, Smarties… except in Canada Smarties are a whole other kind of sweet treat. So I’ll stick with calling them Rockets.
NERDS!
Just kidding. Junior Mints are by far the best.
Kit Kat (or anything chocolate!!!!)

Reese’s Cups. A mix of creamy peanut butter with sweet chocolate!
Red Vines!
How does this NOT have 500+ responses? Is there anyone in the greater ALMS/MX-5 Cup world who doubts the value of this prize?
