I’m gaining a new appreciation for the Golden Oreo. First it was the Fluffernutter Oreo Moon Pies and now it’s these Triple Blondies. Also, I will say a Golden Oreo is divine dunked in hot chocolate.
This recipe which I got from What’s Gaby Cooking, was originally called Slutty Blondies. I couldn’t resist right? You know I love a slutty brownie. However, I changed the name to Triple Blondies, because I can not, in good faith, give these the “slutty” moniker. I believe part of the reason they’re called slutty is because they’re easy to make… ha! Get it? The reason traditional slutty brownies are easy to make is because you use refrigerator cookie dough and brownie mix. This recipe requires you to make the cookie dough and brownie batter from scratch.
But don’t be scared, it’s still pretty straightforward.
Are you a white chocolate lover? Then you will LOVE these.
It’s important that you make them in a 9×9 pan. The first time I made these in an 8×8 pan and it was way too thick and didn’t bake all the way through. If you only have an 8×8, then set aside about 3/4 cup of batter and dough and use it to make individual blondes in muffin cups! I froze mine and reheated them when I wanted a fresh blondie.
Even with a 9×9 pan, these can be tricky to bake. The edges puff up and brown quickly and make you want to pull them out of the oven before they’re done. Don’t do it! Let the rest of the top begin to brown too.
As you can tell I gave these out as a Christmas treat. You could do the same if you have a friend that is foolish enough not to enjoy traditional chocolate fare. Then dip the leftover Golden Oreos in hot chocolate.

Ingredients
For the Brownie layer:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 tsp of vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp of baking soda
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 package of Golden Oreos
For the Cookie Dough layer:
1/2 cup unsalted butter (at room temp)
1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup AP flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
Directions
For the Cookie Dough layer:
Cream together the butter and sugars in a mixer. Add the egg and vanilla. Add the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and mix on low until everything is incorporated. Set aside.
For the Brownie layer:
In a microwave safe bowl melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and whisk vigorously. Add the vanilla and egg and whisk until totally incorporated.
In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until fully combined. Stir in the white chocolate chips.
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9×9 baking pan with tin foil and then spray the tin foil with a layer of baking spray.
Press the cookie dough into the bottom of a 9×9 baking pan. Place a single layer of Oreos on top of the cookie dough. The blondie brownie batter is thick, so do your best to get between the cookies and smooth the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes. Test with a toothpick to see if the center is done. If it comes out clean, remove from oven and let rest for at least 1 hour before serving. If the toothpick comes out with batter still on it, bake an additional 5 minutes.
